Meet our minister

Kim began her ministry in 2005, when she served as a Probationer Minister Ashton-under-Lyne Circuit and was ordained two years later. She has been a minister in the Salford Circuit since 2013.

Born in Carntyne, Glasgow, Kim moved to Manchester in 1980. She accepted God into her life in 1989 and that changed her life significantly. After worshipping in a Pentecostal church, she found a little Methodist church at the end of her street which became her spiritual home. That was Boundary Road Methodist. Towards the end of her training as a Local Preacher, and worshipping at Patricroft Methodist Church, Kim felt her call to Ordained Ministry.

Kim has a real heart for Pastoral Ministry and currently looks after the congregations of Manchester Road, Monton, Glazebrook, St Paul’s and Wesley Churches. With the changing needs of our Circuit and churches, Kim looks forward to serving our Circuit where God feels she should be.

Kim is married to Aleck and has three sons; Andrew, Mark and George.
