Rev John Palmer

John became the Superintendent of the Salford Circuit in September 2021 having moved as Superintendent from the North Staffordshire Circuit.
 
He was born in Lancashire and his background is in the food industry. After responding to the call to ministry John trained at the then Wesley College, Bristol and ordained at the Llandudno Conference in 2003. 
 
John enjoys his work and loves to hear other people’s stories. He enjoys banter and a sense of humour, and more so over the years. He sees it as an important aspect of ministry to maintain a good sense of humour despite the challenges that we all face.

When time allows, he enjoys walking, photography and cooking and loves digital technology, when it works right!
