Thanks to all who attended for your generosity.  We raised £640.

On Saturday 7th October the Evergreens Ladies, with their conductor Brenda Roberts, pianist Catherine Trimble and ever popular compere Molly Cooper gave a concert at Wesley church Cadishead in aid of Maria's care school Uganda.  The charity was set up 21 years ago by Rhona Marshall from Cheshire.  Rhona has since been awarded the MBE.

The packed church enjoyed a very varied programme from the choir.

Many thanks to the choir, Maureen Hughes for her poems, Colin Dixon and Julie Parker for their solos, Christine Bradford and Eddie Thomson for their solos and duets.

A special thanks to the ladies on the raffle and everyone who helped in the kitchen or in other ways.
