Even with problems heating the church, everyone seemed to have a good time!
The Evergreens again came to Wesley to perform a concert with a Valentine theme. Even with problems with the Church heating everyone appeared to enjoy the concert. Wesley ladies also helped with the raffle and refreshments. Over £500 was raised with the proceeds going to the North West Air Ambulance.
Guest soloist Colin Dixon gave his usual entertaining performance singing unaccompanied.
Maureen and Alec Hughes entertained with the”Lisa and the Bucket” routine, and Maureen read a selection of poems.
After more romantic songs from the Evergreens, the audience moved into a “warm” Best room for refreshments.
